- Category: News
- Date: February 28, 2016

On Saturday 27th February 2016, Leader of the Barking and Dagenham Council, Darren Rodwell, held an interactive session with parents of Leaping Toads to inform them about the borough and to answer their questions, queries and concerns.
Topics discussed included how to contact the council, activities for children and teenagers and keeping the streets & recreational parks clean, tidy and safe for all residents
The group discussed the need for a collective and pro-active approach towards living and working in Barking and Dagenham and shared their thoughts as part of living in “One Borough, One Community”.
The Leader encouraged all parents to reach out to him to discuss their thoughts, suggestions and matters of concern. This was warmly welcomed by parents who appreciated this proactive and welcoming gesture.
Thank you, Councillor Rodwell for taking the time to visit us and for all your support to Leaping Toads parents, children and the wider community
