Children, Hawks and Earthworms is family-friendly play based on children’s stories written by the famous Lithuanian poet and playwright Rimantas Cerniauskas.
It tells the story about the times when children, hawks and earthworms used to live as friends and recounts the challenges they face together – a fun love story about families and the freedom to be one’s self.
Stories for Children, Hawks and Earthworms won the 2007 Book of the Year ‘Best Children’s Book’ award. The accompanying music (played live on stage) is written especially for the story by Lithuanian bard and songwriter, Jonas Baltokas. He has released an album devoted to children entitled ‘The songs of an earthworm’.
